Yarnalong: Josephine, Britain & Shepherd

I’ve decided I ramble too much in my Yarnalong posts, so I’m going to limit my intro and descriptions to 140 characters each, Twitter-style.

Knitting: Josephine Wristwarmers in Zealana Luxuria Air Laceweight

The most luxurious yarn I have ever used. 40% possum, 40% cashmere & 20% mulberry silk. Every moment of knitting & wearing it is enjoyable.

Listening: A History of Britain, Vol. 1: At the Edge of the World by Simon Schama

So many hours. So many names. So many years. Like a marathon, this is still a relatively enjoyable experience, even if I wish it was over.

Reading: The Shepherd’s Life: A Tale of the Lake District by James Redbank

As recommended by Sharon. An account by a shepherd’s life of farming in the Lake District and the history of the people who live there.

See what everyone else is knitting/reading/listening to over on the original Yarnalong.
