Knitting: Bakau by Asa Tricosa in Knitsch Sock Yarn
My attempt to knit all of the things last week resulted, unsurprisingly, in RSI (or whatever they call it these days). I had to cut right back. This became the one knitting project because 1) it’s easy on the hands and 2) I’m well-behind the other knitters on the knitalong.
Reading: An Awkward Truth by Peter Grose
I bought this ages ago at an amazing second hand book store in Bendigo called Book Now and finally pulled it down last night.
Basically, very few people know much about the Northern Territory town of Darwin and even fewer people know it was heavily bombed during World War Two. I’m up to the third chapter and have already learnt so much, like the fact that Darwin used to be called Palmerston, was part of South Australia, and has been evacuated not once, but twice (first during WWII and then during cyclone Tracy). Who knows what else I’ll learn.
See what everyone else is knitting/reading/listening to over on the original Yarnalong.
