Last Yarnalong post in Melbourne!
I feel like all I’m doing at the moment is ‘lasts’. Last time having pho, last time at my favourite bar, last time dog sitting. They’re not last-lasts – I’m sure there’ll be visits and suchlike – but last-for-nows. I like that I can at least have the continuity of Yarnalonging – and still keep up with what the Richmond knitters are doing!
Knitting: Yummy Mummy Wristwarmers by Alexandra Brinck in Paton’s Dreamtime
I’m making pretty good progress on the Yummy Mummy wristwarmers, despite having a touch of second mitt syndrome. I will hopefully have them finished before Sunday when I head to Wellington.
Reading: Plants: From Roots to Riches by Kathy Willis and Carolyn Fry
I have not made good progress on this – I think I’ve read three pages since my last post. So I’m going challenge myself to read at least five pages a day, just to get into the habit of picking it up.
See what everyone else is knitting/reading/listening to over on the original Yarnalong.
