Yarnalong: Nut Hap and NZ Geographic

Knitting: Nut Hap by Gudrun Johnston in Ashford Tekapo 8ply 

I’m doing my Nut Hap in the colours of the kākā bird (full explanation here). I’ve added on an extra 20cm so that it has the same proportions as on the model (the delightful, but rather short, Kate Davies). There’s 748 stitches on those needles. I may be some time.

Reading: New Zealand Geographic 

I can’t remember the last time I bought a glossy magazine! But yesterday at the supermarket I was lured in by the magazine stand – at least I bought something reasonably sensible. The photographs are amazing – I’m yet to get stuck into the articles.
