Beneath that blanket is an incredibly warm and happy cat.

Knitting: Little Sister’s Dress by Tora Frøseth Design in Isager Palet

I finished up the Snawpaws last night and just need to sew in the ends and block it (so not actually finished). This morning I realised a good friend is coming to visit from Australia who is pregnant and I’ve not knitted her anything, so I’ve cast on a Little Sister’s Dress.

I’ve wanted to knit this dress forever. I don’t think I’m exaggerating there, Rav informs me this has been in my favourites for seven years and I’ve never made it because all my friends have boy babies.

Reading: Between Books

I finished River Road last night and didn’t really enjoy the second half. Too often there was no reason why the main character was doing something and too much happenstance to join the story together.

Not sure what I’ll read next – any suggestions for something easy-going but good?

(also, Between Books sounds like it should be the name of book).

See what everyone else is knitting and reading over on the original Yarnalong.
